Colleen and Guy’s Our Lady of Lourdes and Norwood Hills Country Club wedding was crazy fun. I’ve been looking forward to this one since I saw down with Colleen and her mom last year to talk about the big day. She told me the wedding party lineup and knowing the guests and family members that would be there I did some quick math. This day was going to be amazing and it exceeded all expectations. Colleen was stunning as always and I have decided that Guy was meant to live in a tux. The only conflict with this being he is a fireman but days off for sure needs to be in a full tux.
They were married at Our Lady of Lourdes in U City which is one of the most beautiful but intimate churches in St. Louis. The church has beautiful old wooden doors where their monogram hung to greet their guests. There were so many elements of the day that honored their loved ones who were there to celebrate with them that day and in spirit. She carried a charm on her Poppie’s Design bouquet with a photo of her twin sister Mary as she walked down the aisle. The aisle was lined with little lanterns and candle light. The ceremony was beautiful. As they left the church they were charged by their adorable little team of flower girls and ring bearers. We did family photos after the ceremony then headed off to Forest Park before going to Norwood Hills to continue to celebration!
Congrats Colleen and Guy! I hope you are as happy for the rest of your lives as you were on this day.
